Objective |
| By offering residency programs for highly qualified translators, LTI Korea endeavors to provide more opportunities for the translators to understand the contemporary scene of Korean literature and to improve their translation skills. |
Description |
| LTI Korea offers support for the stay in Korea. |
| LTI Korea provides opportunities for the translators to meet with Korean writers. |
| LTI Korea organizes literary tours and sponsors an international translators conference. |
| LTI Korea supports translation seminars. |

| Those of foreign or Korean translators / researchers living abroad who meet one of the categories stated below. |
1. Translators who have previously translated and published overseas two or more literature/culture/art books related to Korea 2. Those whose translations have been awarded in the related fields 3. Qualified Korean literature translation researchers who have been committed to increasing the overseas awareness of Korean literature |
Residency Period |
| January 1~December 31, 2009. |
| ※ Please note that this program is designed for 2009. |
Grant Period |
| The duration of the residency program will be one to four months. |

| Manthly stipend(approx. 3,000,000) , round-trip flight ticket, translation research expenses, etc. |
