The purpose of LTI Korea Translation Academy is to provide an advanced literary translation course to translators who hold an LTI Korea Translation Academy certificate.
Description
Centered around hands-on literary translation practice, the program includes lectures and seminars on
Korean literature
Applicant Qualifications
The applicants who have completed other translation courses at LTI Korea and have been recommended by the lecturers.
Target languages
English, Chinese, and Japanese (three in total)
How to submit Applications
Two lectures a week for 12 weeks (6 hours per week, lectures in the evening on weekdays)
The first semester is from April to June 2009 (6 weeks) and the second semester is from Sept. to Nov. 2009 (6 weeks).

Number of Program Beneficiaries
20 applicants will be accepted into the program.
Criteria
The applicants will be selected by the lectures of LTI Korea based on the applicant's achievements during
previous courses at LTI Korea.
Application Schedule
Apply between Feb. 1, 2009 ~ Feb. 5, 2009.
The final applicants will be announced and registration will begin from Feb. 23 to March 2, 2009. The course will begin on April 2, 2009.
