LTI Korea supports the publishing rights of Korean books.
Description

To Korean publishers and agencies, LTI Korea offers export incentives. The amount will depend on the number of exported books.
Applicant Qualifications

Korean publishers and agencies that signed copyright export contract for Korean books.
Grant Amount
-
An incentive is offered for the exporting the copyright of books.

If the financial support is less than 500,000 won, the amount will be paid in cash.

Different criteria will be applied depending on the target language and the genre of the books.

Priority will be given to exporting copyright of books that received publication grant from LTI Koera.

Other support, such as round-trip airfare to international book fairs or booth installation at book fairs, is also available.
Application Materials

Copyright contract between Korean publisher and overseas publisher.
(Signatures of both parties required.)
How to Apply

After completing the online membership registration at KBPP (Korean Books Publishing Project) (www.koreanbooks.or.kr), apply online and a scanned copy of the contract can be uploaded onto the website.

Feb. 2 to 13th, 2009 (for the contracts from 2008) ※ The results will be posted in March, 2009

August 3 to 14, 2009 (for the contracts from 2008 and 2009) ※ The results will be posted in September, 2009.

3st :
Feb. 1 to 12th, 2009 (for the contracts from 2009) ※ The results will be posted in Feb. 2010.
